As a Business Process Optimization Manager, you will play a crucial role in maximizing customer value by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and customer journeys across Mediahuis. Your work will have a broad scope, collaborating with colleagues at all levels, from subject matter experts to management, directors and strategy leads. Key responsibilities include fostering and inspiring cross-functional teams in the field of process improvement, providing guidance and training in LEAN & Agile, conducting benchmarks, and organizing workshops aimed at value creation based on facts and fun.

Your role includes:

  • You analyze and streamline processes, proactively providing practical recommendations for improvement. A key aspect of your role is monitoring progress and ensuring collaboration between cross-functional teams and expert groups to achieve shared goals and synergies.
  • When needed, you manage complex improvement and change projects. You are skilled at translating data into actionable insights and ensuring that data remains up to date.
  • Taking the initiative to share insights and knowledge, you’ll promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement across teams and stakeholders.

You will join Technology & Product Studio (TPS), Mediahuis' Group IT & data department, where passion, innovation, and customer focus come together in the dynamic media landscape. Collaborating with colleagues across various countries, you will develop innovative digital solutions used by all our media brands. More specifically you will join the Process Expertise Centre, the team supporting the organization in change and strategic & process improvement tracks.

You are someone who excels at connecting people and ideas. Your strong communication and team collaboration skills are vital in this role. You have a solid understanding of process improvement methodologies and tools like; Flowcharting, SIPOC & Process mining. You are familiar with operational excellence, LEAN, change management, Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence and are able to apply them pragmatically to different work situations.

Furthermore experience in the following skills would help you get up to speed quickly:

    • You have experience in benchmarking and driving process optimizations across organizations.
    • You are skilled in facilitating workshops and guiding teams through change. And you understand business dynamics and can align process improvements with strategic objectives.
    • Although strategic thinking skills are very valuable in this position, it is equally important that you are energized by a deep dive into data dumps and excel files
    • You have a track record of successfully implementing process improvements that drive value. A LEAN green/black belt is preferred.
