Your impact

As a Domain Architect, you’ll lead the development and evolution of the architecture within your domain, focusing on the future B2C application landscape. You guide and coordinate solution architects while also delivering concrete results yourself. You define group-wide solutions in terms of functionality, technology, information models, and data flows. You collaborate closely with the other architects on strategic goals and on cross-domain initiatives.

Additionally, you...

Define and maintain the baseline (AS-IS) and target (TO-BE) functional architecture for your domain.
Provide guidance and leadership to solution architects to develop a technical architecture that is consistent and aligned with the functional architecture.
Review integration designs and data solutions.
Create domain roadmaps for implementing and onboarding the future application landscape.
Document and govern architecture decisions using ADRs, ensuring alignment with principles, policies, and standards and identify initiatives to fill architecture gaps not covered by existing projects.

You’ll be part of TPS, Mediahuis’ international IT & Data department, where passion, innovation and customer focus come together in the fast-moving media world. In this role, you’ll contribute to the B2C domain while also collaborating with architects from other domains. Working in an international environment, you’ll regularly connect with colleagues across borders and travel to our offices.

On top of this, you bring:

A degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or a related field.
Several years of experience in architecture roles (including both functional and technical architecture).
Strong knowledge of architecture principles, frameworks and best practices, with experience in tools (e.g. LeanIX, Lucid) and frameworks (e.g. ArchiMate, C4, UML).
Broad technical expertise, including cloud, AI, domain-driven design, composable and integration architecture, and data models.
Understanding of business processes, ideally with media industry knowledge, and proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus).
